Shakespeare Sessions

These workshops focus on bringing the Shakespearean text to life in a fun and interactive way. Students are encouraged to analyse the play from the viewpoint of staging and character development. They will be encouraged to perform scenes in a safe, process-based environment, with a strong emphasis on understanding plot and storytelling.

Drama Workshops

These workshops look at the craft of acting and performance in a general way. Participants can engage with performance techniques in a group setting with a strong emphasis on the ensemble. The sessions are fun and interactive where the importance is on participation and engagement.

Make a Play

This workshop will be delivered over a number of sessions consisting of 5 full day workshops over the course of two months.  The participants will develop ideas through a process of improvisation and devising techniques. This work is then scripted, designed and adapted for performance. The finished play will be showcased by the participants of the workshops.

Writing Workshops

These workshops look at the craft of writing for stage. Participants will engage with writing techniques in a group setting and a separate one-to-one session. The sessions are fun and interactive where the focus is on honing your individual voice whilst also embracing the importance of structure and technique in storytelling.

Original Theatre Projects

These workshops look at the craft of creating an original piece of theatre as a 5 minute scene, monologue or installation piece. Participants can engage with the work in a group setting whilst also benefiting from individual feedback. The sessions are fun and interactive where the focus is on you creating a piece of original theatre true to your own style, whilst also embracing the importance of structure and technique in visual storytelling.

School Trips

These workshops look at the craft of acting and performance in a general way. Participants will engage with performance techniques in a group setting with a strong emphasis on the ensemble. The sessions are fun and interactive where the importance is on participation and engagement. The sessions, which will be delivered over 2 to 3 days, include 12 hours of workshops and additional cultural activities.
