Acting for Teens with Charlie Hughes
This course is designed to give teenagers a foundation in Acting skills, whilst nurturing and encouraging creativity and confidence. A fun and social class where students will take part in group exercises and activities that include drama games, improvisation, ensemble-building, and monologue/scene rehearsal. They will work together in preparation of a scene or monologue for an optional showcase performance at the end of the term with their peers. No experience required. This is a course designed specifically to be suitable for continuing students as well as newcomers.

Acting for Screen for Teens
This programme consists of 10 acting classes and this term will include a Master Class with West End House School of Arts Founder, Michael Fassbender. This course is for teenagers aged 13 to 18. Acting for Screen is a collaborative, fun and creative class that is suitable for students with or without previous acting experience. This class will provide a foundation in acting skills, specifically acting for the camera, and nurture the creative capability of each individual student by introducing them to a wide range of techniques. Suitable for all levels of experience, it is also ideal for those who would like to gain an introduction to the craft of acting. No experience required. This is a course designed specifically to be suitable for continuing students as well as newcomers.
This class has been so popular that we recommend you book asap! Classes take place in the form of 1.5 hour sessions once a week for 10 weeks.

Introduction to Acting primary School ages 8-10yrs
This course consists of 10 acting classes and is designed to give young students a foundation in Acting skills whilst helping them to discover their own authentic creative voice by nurturing their confidence. Suitable for primary school students ages 8, 9, & 10yrs only. Students will take part in group exercises and activities that include drama games, improvisation, ensemble-building, and scene work. No experience required. This is a course designed specifically to be suitable for continuing students as well as newcomers. A fun filled hour of games and improv! A great way to make new friends and build confidence and resilience.

Our Weekend Youth Theatre Club continues September 2024 at West End House. This programme is suitable for those aged 13 – 17 with who enjoy creating their own work. The workshops will endeavour to create a Youth Theatre ensemble that will develop skills in performance and theatre-making. The term will end with a showcase performance for friends and family at West End House. This is a course designed specifically to be suitable for continuing students as well as newcomers.

Our Weekend Youth Theatre Club is expanding! We can now offer places on our brand new Junior Youth Theatre Club for ages 10, 11 and 12yrs at West End House. This programme is suitable for those aged 10 – 12yrs as a ‘next-step’ or progression from our Tuesday afternoon class, or for those students with some experience in performance who enjoy creating their own work. The workshops will endeavour to create a Youth Theatre ensemble that will develop skills in performance and theatre-making. The term will end with a performance for friends and family at West End House. This is a course designed specifically to be suitable for continuing students as well as newcomers.
